Coronavirus update

The Pentagon is starting the process of activating Navy hospital ships USNS Mercy and USNS Comfort as part of the Defense Department’s domestic response to the spreading COVID-19 virus, USNI News has learned.Each ship has a 1,000-bed capacity and is manned by military medical personnel, requiring about a week or more to mobilize those personnel from across the active duty and reserve forces.

The Hill - Just more than 1 in 3 Americans — 37 percent — said in a new poll that they have a good amount or a great deal of trust in the information they hear about coronavirus from President Trump.  According to the NPR–PBS NewsHour–Marist survey, 60 percent of respondents said they don't have very much trust in the information they are hearing from the president or don't trust it at all.
