Sam Smith - Among the states that oppose the impeachment of Donald Trump, is every member of the Confederacy with the exception of Virginia. This is 51% of the electoral college votes that favored Trump.
I have argued that when you look at the actual history of the United States, you could make the argument that the Confederacy - with the exception of slavery and succession - did not actually liose the Civil War. It is still fighting it, as, say, the history of segregation in this country and now the Trump case. The media doesn't like to point this out, but America is still a very divided country.

That's what the lame-stream media and those that profit from divisions want you to believe.
However, instead of pointing to our differences, how about pointing out our similarities, focus on them, and work to nourish the same? As the clear thinkers say:
Don't believe everything you hear... This is no time to fight each other ... Solidarity!
