How the establishment protects sexual predators

Sam Smith - Donald Trump's lawyers are seeking dismissal of a suit from rape accuser E Jean Carroll This case is only one of two dozen  examples of women accusing Trump of sexual misconduct that are hardly mentioned in the mainstream media or in Washington generally. Presumably, for example, charges of rape is something one might include in impeachment investigations.

To understand how the establishment handles these matters, one can't do better than read Ronan Farrow's book on his efforts to cover the Harvey Weinstein example. The book, Catch and Kill, describes, for example, the way NBC News put the story aside forcing Farrow to turn to the New Yorker.

But beginning on page 332, Farrow also discusses the Trump example, which left one accuser so scared "I'm afraid to even mention his name."

The book is absolutely essential reading, not just because of the sexual offenses described, but because it details just how establishment America goes about keeping this stuff from your  eyes and ears.
