People have been fighting for a $15 minimum wage for so long, that it should now be an $18 dollar an hour minimum, if one cares about a living wage. My state has raised the minimum wage, and working full time at $12.50 an hour is still a very low wage to cover the cost of living. $15 is better than $7.25, but still not enough to pay rent and cover basic costs.
