These kinds of posts - stats about who is doing what - don't focus on whether any of the above should be doing anything or even running.
The Democratic / Republican party - they are both wings of the same party, as famously noted by Hewey Long - are shoving more corporate-owned candidates down our consciousness and posts like this just help that endeavor. As Leo G. Carrol, the Professor, said in North By Northwest, these bogus "candidates" ... "have now acquired the authority of the printed word."
I get at least a dozen calls per day from companies wanting me to give them $75 a month for Medicare supplemental dental insurance, when my three cleanings per year are only $75 each.
Any candidate who doesn't fully support Medicare For All, Single Payer, call it what you want, but which cuts out any and all corporations making profit (not just costs) out of clean water, health care, education and much more is unfit to be a "leader" and is really only a corporate beard or mouthpiece.
Health Care for all costs a lot, but this country can easily afford it and still spend more than the next eight countries combined on the military, for example.
I strongly support Sanders' tax the heck-fly out of billionaire CEOs bill and the like.
Let's wise up as a country and join the rest of the world as a leader in smart policy for the people... and get out your Its A Wonderful Life - and you too, Mr. Potter!
Cheers, Tom
