Police killing a thousand citizens a year

Popular Resistance -US police officers have continued to kill at a rate of more than 1,000 people every year, amounting to more than 5,000 since [2013] According to data collected by Mapping Police Violence, police officers were charged in less than 2 percent of all 6,836 killings recorded between 2013 and 2018. In only 0.4 percent of cases (28) during this period was an officer charged, convicted and sentenced.
