Each sealed indictment can have as many as 100 defendants, I understand.
The major story headline need not be watered down by stating whom those arrested were friends with.
Jack Ryan advised the President, in Clear & Present Danger (1994) to respond to questions on whether he and the drug dealer were friends by saying "no, we were good friends" or if the question was whether they were good friends to say "no, life-long friends."
Individuals aren't responsible for their friends' activities or involved in similar activities, which is the implication in adding the friend language into the headline or the story. Its the old birds of a feather idea which doesn't always hold true.
Our President may have seemed friendly with the President of North Korea, but he is quite different from the Korean man in his policies and actions.
The core issue behind the story is whether the powerful can be held to respect those with no power. Child trafficking or human abuse of any sort is egregious lack of respect. Those engaging in it likely need to be shown to a waiting area or invited off our shared planet.
