Stupid Trump stuff

President Donald Trump has hijacked what for decades had been a nonpolitical Independence Day celebration on the National Mall, packing his ticketed-event speech with political appointees and Republican donors. The Republican National Committee has been offering major donors tickets to Trump’s speech, as have political appointees at the White House and executive branch agencies.

From an interview with Tucker Carlson:
CARLSON: You’ve come to where we are now Osaka or Tokyo, and the cities are clean. There’s no graffiti. No one going to bathroom on the street. You don’t see junkies.
TRUMP: It’s very nice, isn’t it?
CARLSON: Very different from our city.
TRUMP: Yes. Well, no, some of our cities —
CARLSON: Some of our cities. But New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, they’ve got a major problem with —
TRUMP: It’s very sad.
CARLSON: — with filth. Why is that?
TRUMP: It’s a phenomena that started two years ago. It’s disgraceful. I’m going to maybe — and I’m looking at it very seriously — we’re doing some other things that you probably noticed like some of the very important things that we’re doing now. But we’re looking at it very seriously, because you can’t do that

tRump's ability to hold a coherent conversation or to actually make sure there is a subject to his addled statements seems to be degrading quite dramatically and rapidly. In 2.5 years he has gone to where most of what he says is only a word salad delivered on reflex. I'm deeply concerned that the reason Ivanka was there at the G20 was to help tRump seem less cognitively challenged and to help him should he become agitated. The vague and confused look he so often has, concerns me, because I have known a lot of elderly people with serious cognitive decline, and tRump looks and acts very much like them.
