Daily Mal, UK -Netflix has come out strongly against Georgia's recent passing of a strict abortion bill, suggesting the streaming giant would no longer use the state as a filming location should the controversial legislation ever be upheld.
Chief content officer Ted Sarandos said Tuesday that Netflix would 'rethink our entire investment in Georgia' if legislation known as the 'heartbeat bill' came into effect.
The streaming giant currently has five projects filming in the state: The Liberator, Christmas on the Square, Holidate, Season 2 of Insatiable and Season 3 of Ozark.
