Sam Smith - Watched Beto O'Rourke's Iowa kickoff, resulting in these thoughts:

• Reflecting my view that there's no business like show business, except for politics, O'Rourke is clearly the best political showman of the bunch. And he has a generational advantage that could turn on a lot of typically non-voters. 
• Unlike most politicians he went out of his way to turn every answer down to the local level - talking about the problems of pecan growers, teachers and teens facing climate change. This should go over especially well in Iowa. 
• Does he really have to wave his arms around so much?
