Gen Z likes socialism

Axios -61% of Americans aged between 18 and 24 have a positive reaction to the word "socialism" — beating out "capitalism" at 58%. Overall, 39% of Americans are well-disposed toward socialism, but the gulf remains wide for men and those aged over 55.

Coming from the older end of GenX, I've seen socialism as the only real corrective action that can be taken, to ameliorate the travesty of governance and economic policy, that is the disaster of the Reagan to tRump era. The two Dems that have been president during those years were nearly as terrible as the Repubs. I have felt this way since the election of Reagan, who I was too young to vote against in 1980. I wasn't old enough to drive, but I saw he was planning to sell out the country to the greediest, most retrograde, and hateful elements. I'm glad there is a whole age cohort that is finally catching on to how badly the common citizen has been getting screwed for the past near 40 years.
