Mitchell Research reports that in Michigan former Democratic state senator Gretchen Whitmer (48%) leads Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette (43 %) in the race for governor. But what's striking is the age difference:
By age, Whitmer leads with 18 -29 year olds ( 57% - 29%) , 30 - 44 year olds ( 50% - 35% ) , and with 65+ voters ( 49% - 48%). Schuette leads with 45 - 64 year olds (49% - 45 %)
