Two thirds say Trump was wrong to call for firing of kneeling NFL players
Politico - Sixty-eight percent of those polled by Marist and HBO said the president did the wrong thing by calling for the firing of NFL players who protest during the national anthem, while 28 percent said Trump’s response was the correct one.Respondents were evenly split on Vice President Mike Pence’s decision to leave early from a recent NFL game where players kneeled in protest, with 47 percent saying he had done the right thing and 47 percent saying he had not.
