Trump would only win 99 electoral votes now, according to Gallup poll results
Oregonian - During the first six months of his first term -- a period when presidents historically score their best marks from voters -- Trump’s approval rating is at or tops 50 percent in only 17 states. If in 2020 he wins only these states, the president will earn a mere 99 electoral votes. The Washington Post points out that even if you include states where his approval rating reaches 45 percent, Trump still would only score 154 electoral votes. A candidate needs 270 to win the presidency.
