of Family Physicians may help...If you are 60 or older and have no other cardiovascular risk factors
(diabetes, high cholesterol, a smoking habit), these guidelines
recommend maintaining a systolic reading below 150 mm/Hg.

The EU considers 140 systolic as a healthy number for almost everyone. They have found the diastolic number isn't all that important. They have not revised the systolic number for Seniors, but they recommend personalizing treatment to fit the context of the high blood pressure, instead of one size fits all, like in the US. I generally follow EU guidelines, because they have an interest in healthier populations, then the US which supports Big Pharma as they make us sicker and sicker, but all the more profitable to Big Pharma
