New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has promised to honor the Paris climate agreement even if President Trump abandons it. De Blasio furiously wrote this morning that to withdraw from the agreement would be like a “dagger aimed straight at the heart of New York City” and pledged that the city will “take matters into our own hands.”

Using methods developed for the Yale Climate Opinion Maps, [finds] that a majority of Americans in every state say that the United States should participate in the Paris Climate Agreement.
