Sessions' not too subtle war on civil rights
Slate - Nearly 150 years after the Department of Justice was founded to, in part, protect the rights and privileges of formerly enslaved Americans, we now have an attorney general who is committed to undermining that legacy of fairness and equality.
So much for All Men Are Created Equal. We have gone so far down the rabbit hole. Who are we becoming? As a world news junkie, the world is a mess and I have no reason not to believe that the US is largely responsible for most of it. And as we apparently still plan to increase military spending in quest of American Hegemony, I foresee the same future for us as the Roman Empire when it tried to expand its empire.
Really. And we want to suppress our own people as well? Our government basically sucks.
