While both Trump and Republicans in both chambers of Congress campaigned on repealing the Affordable Care Act — passed exclusively with Democratic votes and signed by then-President Barack Obama — a new Politico/Morning Consult poll shows voters are now split evenly on the law. Forty-five percent of registered voters approve of the law, the poll shows, and 45 percent disapprove. In early January, before Trump took office, a Politico/Morning Consult poll showed only 41 percent of voters approved of the health care law, compared with 52 percent who disapproved.
In Trump We Trust — .com, that is. Not your politics? Maybe check out ThrowOutTrump.com. Actually, they're both empty websites, what you call parked domain names: bought and paid for, but not used. More interesting is that they both belong to the same guy — Donald J. Trump. A big hat tip to CNN, which had the idea to search for all websites registered by the Trump Organization and came back with a list of more than 3,000 — all the way back to the original DonaldJTrump.com, registered in 1997. “One was TrumpEmpire.com,” CNN noted. “That domain had belonged to a Mexican cybersquatter” before Trump's company nabbed it last June (to the cybersquatter's chagrin)... But what's TrumpArmy.com about? The Trump Organization registered it in 2011, long before Trump commanded the U.S. Army.
More than half of voters believe Donald Trump has done something
illegal or unethical as he faces potential conflicts of interest by
continuing to own his businesses while serving as president, according
to a new McClatchy-Marist Poll. Even more voters – nearly six in 10 – say Trump’s conduct as president makes them feel embarrassed, according to the poll.
