Broken news at MSNBC

MSNBC is devaluing the term "breaking news" by assigning it to whatever story they're about to report, even if it's several days old. For example, reporting for the umpteenth time that Donald Trump says he's going to say something about Russia in the next day or two is not breaking news; it's falling once again for one of his propaganda techniques.

Seems that as they embark upon whatever story they're about to report they are, in fact, not only breaking, but also shredding the concept of 'news'. We ought thank them for the fair warnings.; January 2, 2017 at 5:17 PM
