The generational election
The fact that Trump and Clinton are the presidential candidates represents a probable last political gasp of older Americans. The Sanders campaign showed that something different was just under the surface and here's another hint from Gallup: "Only 38% of Democrats and Democratic leaners between the ages of 18 and
39 are satisfied with Clinton, compared with 67% of those 40 and older." Times are a changing.

There's a problem with this premise. Hilary didn't win the nomination fair and square, she won it by fraud, voter suppression, corruption, money laundering through the Clinton Foundation, and the DNC's unscrupulous behavior. All these elements don't count as a last gasp for older generations, it amounts to a concerted effort to subvert democracy for the benefit of Clinton and the DNC.
Unless this fraud and corruption is dealt with, I have little hope that the 2020 election will be more than another circus meant to distract us, and leave WashingtonDC in a state of business as usual.
Yes, and radical middle-aged Americans are the bridge to keeping history alive for Millenials, who sometimes are short of understanding just how long things have been this bad. I'm 47 and Bill Clinton radicalized me only a few weeks into his first administration. It's joyous to see the demographic shift taking place, to see Baby Boomers finally headed for the boneyard.
The hope for now is that generational tectonics will make Hillary a one-term president, the GHW Bush of neoliberal scum and pseudo-feminists.
