Hillary Clinton is 5 points ahead of Trump, five below her best so far.
In electoral votes, Democrats have 256 firm or leaning towards the party, the GOP has 118. Needed to elect: 270

I think that assuming the Dems have 256 firm votes is a bit ingenuous. They are definitely going to face challenges in all 50 states, and will be on the defensive in any state where the economic crisis hit or where they have Obamacare. As a lefty Dem in CA who is planning on his first ever Repub vote I don't even think they'll carry CA. I think they're heading for a landslide defeat. But I guess we'll see.
