Politicops - New
Jersey Governor Chris Christie says that he would oppose any attempt to
loosen medical marijuana regulations that would broaden the number of
conditions eligible for treatment and potentially lower costs, even as
his state remains one of the costliest states in which to live in the
country. The legislation, introduced by state Democrats, would expand
the list of ailments to include things like menstrual pain, a condition
that can be debilitating for some women.
“I’m sorry,
but that’s how God wanted it to be,” Christie said. “This is very
problematic because at the rate we’re going, we’re soon going to be
prescribing marijuana for simple headaches and feeling down on any given
day."

Gee Gov. Christie, I guess God wanted women to pay more money to Big Pharma for medications that don't work or cause greater health problems later, like HRT and breast cancer, instead of using a plant that God created in the first place.
When will the good people of NJ kick this idiot to the curb.
