DC Statehood update

Anne Anderson sends us word from the capital colony that there are now a record 128 House members and 18 Senators who are backing the New Columbia Admission Act. The League of Women Voters, an early opponent of DC statehood, is also aboard and has aske the national organization to join the cause. And a recent poll found 71% of DC residents  now back statehood.
