Jackson MS heads for 30 days at 95 and above
When the heat rose over 95 degrees in the Metro area on Monday, it was historic. For
the first time since 1896, Jackson has seen 29 days in a row of
95-degree heat or higher. When it hits 95 on Tuesday, which forecasters
say it will, the record that has stood for 119 years will be broken.
