Talking Points Memo - Donald Trump hinted that he may run as a third-party
candidate if he continues to be treated poorly by the Republican
National Committee. "The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy," he told The Hill in an interview published Thursday morning. "The RNC has been, I think, very foolish."Trump said he would continue to monitor the race and how the Republican party acts toward him."I’ll have to see how I’m being treated by the Republicans," he said
about a third-party run. "Absolutely, if they’re not fair, that would be
a factor."
Note: To run as an independent, Trump would have to go through extensive state by state registration

And he will never get on the ballot in Oklahoma as an independent. No one has made it since statehood, but I am sure he thinks his $10 billion can buy the presidency
