A majority of Americans support allowing immigrants living in the
country illegally to stay and be granted legal status, according to a
new poll released Thursday.
The survey conducted by the Pew Research Center found that 72 percent of Americans support legal status for such immigrants.

Didn't we have an amnesty once?
Could I move to another country without permission, and be granted legal status there? Canada, Mexico, Britain...?
Just asking...
it is time to do away with borders. The trade deals allow money to cross freely, aren't people more important than money? If money is so free to travel, people ought to be able to follow the money.
It's time to send the law breakers home and stop rewarding criminal behavior. Illegal immigration is wrong.
It is time to stop legalizing the destruction that creates refugees.
When Americans stop destroying the planet we shall hav e the right to close our border. Anyone on the run from American weapons or american backed dictatoprs ought to be allowed here no questions asked.
It's time to prevent money from traveling!
Migration should not be a federal or national matter but a home to home or place to place exchange through the networks of families existing across national frontiers that need to become more natural... as our families across frontiers are natural. I have three national citizenships... Cuban, American and Mexican... I would much prefer to be a citizen of a constellation of municipalities organized along biorregional realities than the humanely unsustainable asshole, self-serving for the military industrial complex. And give up militaristically oriented notions of security in favor of ecologically oriented safety concerns...
