GOP plops

62% of all Americans but only 38% of Republicans believe that we should have policies that that try to reduce the gap between wealthy and less well-off Americans.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) said that he supports a constitutional amendment banning nationwide marriage equality... "I personally believe that marriage is between one man and one woman," said Walker, a prospective GOP presidential candidate, on ABC's "This Week." "If the court decides that, the only next approach is for those who are supporters of marriage being defined as between one man and one woman is ultimately to consider pursuing a constitutional amendment."

There should be four classes of civil unions sanctioned by govt:

1. One man and one woman

2. Two men or two women.

3. Three or more of the same sex.

4. Three or more with both sexes.

The specifics depend on the specifics of the contract, which is bound to have statutory requirements. The Supreme Court doesn't recognize collective rights, that is, rights of the people, even of survival. In law a couple may be deemed married because they have lived together. Consistency requires the SC to get rid of the right of the people to require marriage. Any right to the SC is an individual right, which corporations have but the people don't.

But I digress. That should suffice for the role of government. Class 2 united people could call themselves married. They can call themselves anything they want. They have a perfect right to do so. Others have a right to laugh at them however.

The really important gay right is the right to stay in the closet. It takes no crystal ball to see that it will be thought more highly of in the near future.

The best evidence for our nation being run by and for the benefit of psychopaths is that creatures like Walker aren't excluded from public office. A healthy nation would regard individuals who gratuitously harm others, or who seek to legitimise such harm, as being too ethically disabled to hold public office.

Sadly many people are attracted to sociopaths like moths to the flame. Lack of education (on purpose) means most people have no clue about sociopaths in public office at all levels. Of course con people are sociopath and political figures are just another kind of con man, also many business leaders. About one in every 25 is a sociopath, so that puts quite a few operating out there ,,, they are everywhere.
