With regards to Friendly Fascism, I have the 1982 paperback edition and my first reaction is to just say "yup". But on reflection, I think about Ehrlich's repsonses to criticism of The Population Bomb, which he now says was much too optimistic. Also, one might question the adjective "friendly".
