said in 2011: “Obama was a terrible student and he shouldn’t have been
able to get into the schools he did”. He also said “I heard he was a
terrible student — terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and
then to Harvard?” Is he right?
Neither president has published their transcripts, which is really no one's business anyway. But there are three public notices that give hints.
One: Trump's graduation class listing from Penn. The honors students are listed separately, and Trump is not listed. He had no academic awards or distinctions.
Two: Obama graduated from Harvard Law Magna Cum Laude, which is usually the top 4% of the class. He also graduated "with honors" as an undergraduate from Colombia.
Three: Obama was on Law Review and president of Law Review at Harvard. That also is reserved for the better students in the class and competitive just to be on Law Review. .
So.. no published grades for either, but publicized accomplishments for only one of them .
