Trump administration strikes back at Harvard with a $450 million cu

 Washington Post - The Trump administration said Tuesday that it had terminated $450 million in federal funding to Harvard University, one day after the school sent a letter rejecting the administration’s claims that it violated federal law.

Harvard quickly responded Tuesday evening, filing an amended complaint in its lawsuit against the Trump administration, objecting to numerous actions federal officials have taken in recent days and adding multiple agencies that have cut funding to the university.

Tuesday’s back-and-forth is the latest round in the battle between the administration and the Ivy League university that has involved federal officials quickly issuing threats or penalties after the school signaled its refusal to submit to the government’s demands.
