Service problem

Sam Smith - Your 87 year old editor was walking out of Shaw's grocery store in Yarmouth when, for no explainable reason, he tripped and fell down causing damage to one hand and above his left eye. In the best Maine fashion, two male customers gave immediate attention and called an ambulance. The trip to the hospital with staff from Freeport Fire & Rescue was friendly and useful and the service at Main Health Mid Coast Hospital was excellent.

I mention this because it is unclear how quickly I will return to my normal journalistic ways and you may have to put up with short cuts for awhile like only headlines. I will strive towards normal as fast and wisely as I can.
