Polling

Pew Research -   President Donald Trump’s approval rating stands at 40%, a decline from 47% in February. More than half of Americans disapprove of the administration’s tariff hikes and cuts to the federal government. And more U.S. adults say Trump is setting too much policy by executive order than say he’s using this power the right amount (51% vs. 27%).

Pew Research - Nearly half of U.S. teens (48%) say social media has a mostly negative effect on people their age, an increase from 32% in 2022. Teens have also become more likely to say they spend too much time on these platforms: 45% say this now, up from 36% in 2022. At the same time, they largely see social media as a positive space for connection and creativity.
