The Hill -   The Washington Post/Ipsos survey, released Thursday, found that 83 percent of respondents were opposed to Trump’s offer of clemency for violent criminal offenders. Roughly 55 percent said the same about pardons for rioters convicted of nonviolent crimes. Another 14 percent had the opposite view, supporting the president, while 3 percent chose not to answer.

Pew Research - Americans’ views of two prominent tech executives tilt more negative than positive. Elon Musk is a politically polarizing figure, with Republicans largely viewing him favorably (73%) and Democrats largely unfavorably (85%). Views of Mark Zuckerberg are less polarized, with majorities in both parties viewing him unfavorably...

 The day he returned to the White House, President Donald Trump signed an executive order intended to end birthright citizenship for certain children of immigrants in the United States. Overall, 56% of U.S. adults disapprove of the executive order, while 43% approve...

 A 63% majority of Americans say inflation is a very big problem in the U.S. today, on par with views measured last spring. But the public has become more likely to see the affordability of health care (67%) and the federal budget deficit (57%) as very big problems.
