A Wrinkle In Time will be in theaters in March...

Of course, it only remains to be seen how they mess that kid's classic up, but we can hope...

How can movie directors be so blind? The Chronicles of Narnia could have been done correctly. Even use Liam as the narrator, if you want to, but put the dialog and narration into the movie word for word with all the special effects and costumes you want. The screen play is already written, you dumb bunnies!

So what if The Lion etc. is a short movie. All that means is that you can charge the same for a ticket and get two to three more shows in per day x a thousand!

Why change what were inspired words? You also need to have the dedication somewhere by CS Lewis:

To Lucy Barfield
My dear Lucy, I wrote this story for you, but when I began it I had not realized that girls
grow quicker than books. As a result you are already too old for fairy tales, and by the
time it is printed and bound you will be older still. But some day you will be old enough
to start reading fairy tales again. You can then take it down from some upper shelf, dust
it, and tell me what you think of it. I shall probably be too deaf to hear, and too old to
understand a word you say, but I shall still be
your affectionate Godfather, C. S. Lewis.

That would make a great voice-over to the credits at the beginning of the movie...

Yet, in spite of all the movie reinterpretations, if you really want to go to Narnia once a year (as I do), get yourself a boxed set of the seven books in paperback in their correct order by Collier Books, Macmillan Publishing Company, from eBay and enjoy... oh, and don't let Lewis' lists put you off...

Cheers, Tom
