What's in the GOP No Care Act

Huffington Post - The bill would slash federal spending on Medicaid by $880 billion, or about one-quarter, over a 10-year period. It also would wind down the Medicaid expansion that has provided coverage to millions in the District of Columbia and 31 states that took advantage of this part of the Affordable Care Act.

Moreover, the American Health Care Act would fundamentally transform Medicaid into an entitlement program available to anyone who qualifies - mostly poor children, pregnant women, people with disabilities and senior citizens - by capping federal spending. MORE

Good summary from BBC

- Top 10 states for pre-existing conditions all went for Trump. The GOP HC bill is terrible politics for him.

Health Care Now -  The AHCA will: Eliminates taxes used to pay for Medicaid and Medicare; Kick 24 million off of their health insurance; Allow insurers to charge higher prices to older patients; Permits states to decide on whether insurers can discriminate on pre-existing conditions; and more
