West Virginia senator considering single payer healthcare

Note: Manchin gets only a 60% score on the liberal ADA Senate ratings, which makes this interesting

Popular Resistance - Senator Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia) is looking at a Canadian style single payer system.

1manIt’s the second time in a month that Manchin has told constituents that he’s looking at a Medicare for all system to replace an unraveling Obamneycare.

Manchin has been clear that he will vote against the emerging Trumpcare/Ryancare that will balloon the ranks of the uninsured from 30 million under Obamneycare to 50 million.

1uninAt a town hall meeting in Martinsburg, West Virginia today, more than 200 people jammed the Robert Byrd Science Center.

And by their reactions to single payer questions, the majority in the room wanted Manchin to sponsor a single payer bill in the Senate.

Third world republics usually have socialized medicine with very low paid medical care workers.
This result is most likely for the US into the future, getting there will be more chaos. The insanity of Obama care is the main start of that chaos. Of course that future medical system will overwhelmed and poorly done most likly. It does not have to be that way but it is the norm of third world republics. The elite will have their own special health care. In reality well done alternative care would be better for society , not much money in it though.
