English teacher? I'm not sure I believe it after reading that paragraph. Tenses all over the place and sentences begging for re-arrangement. She would do well to read some Orwell and Hemingway.
On the other hand she reads just like those damn standardized tests they always made us take. She might be telling the truth after all.
I don´t see any grammatical errors in there to disqualify this post. Look again and tell me please. I have a Ph.D. in Modern Languages and Literature, 1977... and I translate poetry along with many other things... so: I BEG YOUR PARDON?!
