Coming across a Gallup poll listing of surveys going back 60 years, we examined which demographics were most loyal to the Democratic Party. Here were the leaders:
Those with only a grade school education
Those who live in the East
Those under 30
But with the exception of those who live in the East, the rest of the loyal Democrats don't get all that much in return. What's interesting about the Sanders campaign is that it is the first in decades to have a real Democratic Party feel about it. And what's interesting about the categories above is what a powerful force they would be if they discovered what they had in common.
