Of the five presidential candidates, Americans express the most confidence in Sen. Bernie Sanders (47%) and Gov. John Kasich (46%) to recommend the right thing for the economy. Americans have the least confidence in Donald Trump (30%).

Storms have dumped more than a foot of rain in the Houston area, flooding dozens of neighborhoods and forcing the closure of city offices and the suspension of public transit.

Hillary Clinton noted the family had given $15 million to charity since 2007. The tax returns show $14.8 million of that went to the Clinton Family Foundation.

It ought to to be a climate change wake-up call for Texas.
This storm system seemed to form a static line extending from Texas to the Dakotas whose movement, if any, appeared to trend as a counter-clockwise reverse easterly flow. Presence of the traditional westerly jet-stream refused to manifest. Of curiosity and lateral interest, too, are the recent storm systems that have converged upon California which have also displayed a similar mega-cyclonic counter-clockwise comparative rotation.
Something is different,and quite possibly very wrong. Yet, one would be foolish to wager against Texans altering their ongoing support for denialist clowns of the Cruz ilk. As they say, you can always tell a Texan...you just can't tell them much.
