Re: car accidents. Miles driven is way up due to low gas prices. Also speed limits.

Excellent point raised regarding miles driven.
Additionally, it might be suggested that we are also arriving at a point where the relatively recent trend in cutbacks to driver education in public schools is starting become manifest in unsafer highways. Combine that with the massive cuts in highway infrastructure spending and the situation portends ill.
