Nuclear fusion is not a renewable resource, it is an infinite one.

Did you notice that within days of Lockheed announcing a new DT reactor design and seeking investment money, there was a slick debunking message on a slick propaganda site trying to ridicule it? Power from fusing hydrogen...Really?

Most of the plethora of proposed designs will work.
Actually, I'll bet all of them will except for that "cold fusion" nonsense.

There is still a place for solar. The best use for solar, IMO, is to power air conditioning. Windmills? Maybe. With low cost fusion power, all infrastructure would be much cheaper to build.
