Why things are running a little slow

Sam Smith -   Our news today may be a bit slow thanks to the fact that your editor fell out of his bed last night and couldn’t rise from the floor until he was aided two guys from the local fire department. The cause was one I had previously avoided by sleeping over a foot away from the edge of the bed. This time I was careless around 4 am.  My wonderful wife called the Freeport fire department and two nice guys had me up and going in just a few moments, one of them asking at the start, "whatcha doin' down there?"
