Gallup
- Three in 10 Americans (31%) think a college education is "very
important," four percentage points below last
year’s reading, the previous low among the seven times Gallup has asked
this question since 1978. As recently as 2013, more than twice as many U.S.
adults (70%) said college was very important.
AP
- A new poll from The Associated Press-NORC
Center for Public Affairs Research finds that only 17% of U.S. adults approve
of the Republican president’s handling of the cost of living. Just 26% approve
of his handling of the economy overall, marking a new low.
