The
Hill - President Trump argued Friday that he should have been awarded
the Nobel Peace Prize over this year’s Nobel laureate, former International
Criminal Court (ICC) judge Navi Pillay. The president, who has long coveted the
honor, was gifted the award by last year’s recipient, Venezuelan opposition
leader María Corina Machado.
In a late evening Truth Social post after his rally in Syracuse, N.Y., Trump repeated his exaggerated claim that he has “settled eight Wars,” and said he was “about to settle, or win, two more” in Iran and the war between Russia and Ukraine. “The United States of America, represented by me, as your President, should have received the Nobel Peace Prize, but didn’t,” he wrote.
