- The top four vote-getters in Alaska’s nonpartisan primaries make it
to the general election. The fourth is yet to be determined. But what we
already know about the race is likely causing headaches in the campaign
headquarters of incumbent Senator Dan S. Sullivan. Election officials confirmed
this week that Dan J. Sullivan, a fellow Republican and retired teacher, had
qualified for the general election. … Sullivan did get a boost last weekend
with an endorsement from a former Anchorage mayor. His name? Dan A. Sullivan.
