Memphis was ranked the most dangerous in the US.

Detroit was ranked second, while Baltimore was third.

Irvine had the biggest increase in crime concern scores, followed by Raleigh and Portland.

The index consisted of user-submitted crime ratings over the last seven-and-a-half years, spanning 411 cities across the globe.
