Mobile homes
NPR - More than 22 million Americans live in mobile home parks and rely on these communities for affordable housing. But affordability isn't guaranteed. Residents typically own their homes but not the land underneath, leaving them vulnerable to displacement if the land is sold. One community in Colorado found a way to combat this issue: they mobilized to raise the moneyto match or even surpass a corporate sale offer.
