More snow in western US

Newsweek - Winter storm warnings, issued when "a significant combination of hazardous winter weather is occurring or imminent," are in place for central Iowa, western Colorado, northwest Washington, as well as parts of Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.

In Colorado’s Elkhead and Park Mountains, the NWS said that additional snow accumulations between eight and 16 inches, with higher amounts up to two feet at the higher peaks of the Park Range would be possible.

In Utah, the Central Mountains, Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs, and the Western Uinta Mountains could see between one and two feet of snow, according to the agency. It warned that winter driving conditions are to be expected on all mountain routes "with significant impacts to conditions on Soldier Summit."

The winter storm warnings for these areas are in place until 5 a.m. MST Sunday as of reporting.
