Sam Smith – Although activist groups are increasingly using terms like fascism to describe the character of the Trump administration there is striking little discussion about how you fight the Trump assault on decency and democracy. Here are just a few approaches to consider:
· Identify states that are in Trump’s bag.
· Identify what these states do wrong
· Identify corporations that are prominent in these states and if they back the states’ bad policies encourage a boycott of these corporations.
· Discourage use of the bad states for vacations or visits to historic sites.
· Encourage the use of states that offer alternatives to Trump policies.
In other words, identify the states that respect the Constitution and feature them while boycotting those that don’t.
