This is so much rhetoric. I was there several days after Helene struck and witnessed federal interstate highways washed away along with vital b ridges. Later I encountered a NC National Guard convoy bringing emergency supplies and troops to help restore order and support local efforts to recover. It is absolute madness to think getting rid of FEMA make s sense!
